The Rulership Book, by Rex Bills After years of "trying" to learn Astrology, I finally "got it" once I got The Rulership Book by Rex Bills. This is the book I refer to and use in my workshops. It's in dictionary format by word, sign, planet and house. A gem!
The Secret Language of Destiny by Gary Goldschneider is my all time favorite "go to" book for a quick read of an astrological chart. It answers the question "What is it really all about?" The amount of expertise and insight needed to write this book is staggering.
Pluto the Evolutionary Journey of the Soul by Jeffrey Wolf Green who revolutionized astrology as we know it today with this 1985 book I have a few number 1 books for different reasons. This is a #1 book for gaining deep transformative personal insight.
Understanding Karmic Complexes by Patricia Walsh #1 book on the Nodes. This book revolutionized astrology in her book after years of practicing Deep Memory Process when she noticed a correlation between the Nodes and Pluto in the astrological chart and the types of experiences in Past Life Regression experiences clients were having. A must have for studying the Nodes
Saturn: A New Look at the Old Devil by Liz Greene
A new edition of one of my favorite all time and still most used astrology books. Liz Greene is a Jungian analyst and this book is one of the earliest to begin talking about past life wounds and that astrology is a map of the unfolding of the higher self - the soul. A must have on the shelf.
Astrological Insights Into Personality by Betty Lundsted
A new edition of one of my favorite all time and still most used astrology books.
Shows the familial, and parental relationship patterns in the zodiacal signs and through our aspects. Lundsted explains that our natal chart is our parent’s transit chart, therefore revealing the truth of our childhood family dynamics. A must have on the shelf.
Shamanic Journeying

Michael Harner's classic book is a practical, powerful guide to the heart of shamanic practice. This was the book that was recommended to me in the early days of my past life regression training. It's basic, easy to follow, and helped me understand a lot of the foundational principles. And this book still holds up decades later.
Ted Andrews classic book comprehensive reference book on the nature and spiritual meaning of animals, birds, insects and reptiles. It has been my "go to" book both at home and in workshops. Ted not only goes into the biology of each animal (which the reader can identify with for their own body) but also taps into their intuitive nature and symbolism.
I've had this book for decades and still use it.

Faeries by Brian Froud is a stunning exploration of the enchanting world of faeries and all the beings that fall under that category including elves, gnomes, nymphs and more. Froud's captivating illustrations and rich folklore gives rich insight into the true energy of these beings.

is written differently than Animal Speak. It is limited to North American animals and covers more traditional lore than Animal Speak.
This was one of my first shamanic books and is something I still refer to and use in workshops. It's an easy read. Some sets come with a set of cards.
