A Day of Self-Appreciation, Reflection, Community…

and Art as a Spiritual Practice

Valentine’s Day doesn’t have to be about whether someone else shows up for you.

It can be about you showing up for yourself.

      So many people spend their lives giving, supporting, showing up, and holding everything together for others … while quietly feeling unseen, unappreciated, or a little lost inside themselves. This gathering is a chance to pause and turn toward the part of you that so often gets overlooked — the real you, the one with feelings, needs, humor, softness, strength, history, and hope.  
       Writing a Love Letter to oneself with true honesty and reflection will awaken in you dimensions of the self you have either never known or perhaps long forgotten.  Join us for a day of self-love, self reflection and exploring with your intuition what the soul wants to express through an art form.

         Along the way, we’ll reflect on what many call the Divine Feminine — the very human capacity we each have that is nurturing, intuitive, compassionate, receptive, and creative.  Today is about honoring who you truly are, in the warm company of others doing the same thing.  

 

This day also introduces something new for me as a healer and artist and what I refer to as

"Art As a Spiritual Practice"

       

           Many of you know I’m an artist, and I’ve felt called (and talking about it...lol) for some time now to bring art and healing together in a deeper way — and the timing is finally right. This workshop is the beginning, and there will continue to be other offerings along the way that build on this same theme. 

           This day will include art — not as something to learn or “get right,” but as a meaningful way to let the inner self speak. We’ll use art as a form of spiritual and emotional expression… a way to give shape and voice to parts of ourselves that rarely get space in everyday life. No art experience is needed. You’ll be supported with the basics and all the supplies and then given the time and  encouragement to work at your own pace.  You’ll go home with a finished piece you can  keep somewhere as a reminder of your true self.
