For workshops and private sessions some clients like to stay nearby. Old Saybrook and the surrounding area has numerous hotel, motel, airbnb and B & B options. 

The closest is The Liberty Inn, Old Saybrook. It is right around the corner from my office. 

A simple search on Travelocity or Expedia will bring up plenty of choices. Southeastern Connecticut is on the shoreline and is loaded with tourism options such as beaches, Mystic Seaport, Lighthouse boat tours, fishing, hiking, art museums, casinos, and much more.
